An Application Program Interface (API) is a set of procedures and tools for building software applications. These processes make it easier for developers to use certain technologies in building applications. APIs are everywhere these days. They are the simplest ways that companies integrate with each other. APIs are the building blocks that make it all come together. Read more about “What is an API” here. API call is whenever you make a call to a server using APIs, this counts as an API call. For example, every time you log in, ask a question on your computer or an app, you’re in fact making an API call.

Why are we talking about APIs here? Because Pipedrive allows clients to connect via API, free of charge. Don’t you see the value of it? Let’s wait until you need to integrate a piece of software for some specific purposes of your business then you will get it! Many “great” platforms charge even expensive subscriptions to allow API calls. So what? Well, it simply means that Pipedrive is less expensive and more attractive even for complex solutions where the CRM must run the sales process, but many other software control other business processes.
